I was in Summer Hill and needed lunch and saw this cafe on TA. I&#39;m so glad I found it and would go back to SH just to eat there! Waiters were wonderful and friendly, service impeccable and the food was fantastic. I had the 2 course lunch for $30. First up the cod croquettes, which were light, crispy and tasty, and then the portobello pie which was among the best I&#39;ve ever had. All washed down with a beautiful glass of white the waiter recommended. All up it cost around $43. If you&#39;re in the area, just go.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Nice place near the railway station in a quiet street is Summer Hill. Will definitely visit again on my travels to Sydney.

The location hidden in the residential area is a bit inconspicuous. As soon as you enter the door, you will find the old floor fireplace and hand-painted ceramic wall lights. It seems that you have passed the feeling of an old house in the Paris block of the movie in a second. The taste can be regarded as a delicious level in Sydney&#39;s Fine dining. A few dishes will not be particularly greasy to eat until the end, the last dessert is really another surprise, sour plum frozen taste with sweet sauce, sour and sweet in the mouth at the same time.

The high consumption is because it guarantees the appearance of the product, and it also guarantees the taste and taste of the product! Especially recommended to everyone, Sydney&#39;s roll! The ordinary and inconspicuous small shop can make delicious afternoon tea, which is great! Especially recommended!

we had the chefs surprise, 4 courses, shared between two. all food was cooked as you expect, and presented well. staff are great had to help you where ever they could and explained the food as it was delivered. as we had a sitter we asked for everything with in a couple of hours and they did. this place has zest, it&#39;s grown up and you almost feel like you are rich and famous for a moment. the reason the mark is average is mostly the meal we had was average nothing surprising that we would go wow! but it was nice and cooked and presented well.

Having been several times and made it clear we needed coeliac non-gluten food, and having been assured multiple times that the owner is a coeliac and a suite of their dishes are gluten free, so we took coeliac friends too. On about the 6th or 7th visit we were told by the waitress that &#39;this gluten free thing is a joke&#39; and it&#39;s a bunch of hipster nonsense...at which point we explained again what a coeliac is, and were told &#39;oh, well those dishes aren&#39;t really gluten free after all&#39;. Basically a bunch of arrogant a holes who couldn&#39;t have upset my partner more if they&#39;d tried. We walked out, then went out of our way to bring it up with the owner, particularly about the attitude of their staff, and they blamed us for not explaining what kind of gluten free we needed.... Needless to say, we have never been back and i am quite happy to bad mouth them at length, anywhere, any time.

We travelled down to Sydney for a concert the following night, so we just wanted to relax and eat in. We ordered and paid online, so very easy. The meals arrived very promptly. I had homemade lasagne and I can say it was one of the best I&#39;ve eaten and I have it nearly everytime we have Italian. My daughter had a chicken and avocado dish and she said that it was lovely. The garlic bread was scrummy. Both meals were very large portions. Next time we come to Sydney we will dine in and I&#39;m sure it will be amazing
